Our History
Born from Canadian Energy
TekToro's story begins where the work is hardest. Our founder spent years in the field designing, building, and commissioning control systems across some of the most demanding industrial environments on earth — from the Peace Country gas fields and oil sands of northern Alberta, across the Marcellus Shale, and deep into the Permian Basin and refinery corridors of the Texas Gulf Coast. That field-hardened experience is the bedrock of everything we build today.
Experienced Engineering
A decade of field work evolved into something broader. Full control system design, commissioning, and complex systems integration became the foundation — while simultaneously embracing the rise of edge computing and the Industrial Internet of Things. Web-based SCADA, distributed monitoring architectures, and enterprise technology adoption followed, building a proven track record across some of North America's most demanding operational environments.
