Our Site Enablement Licensing charges a flat fee per gateway — not per tag. Whether you run 100 or 100,000 tags, the cost stays the same. This eliminates the "Success Tax" where your licensing costs balloon as your operations grow. You only pay more when you add new gateway sites, not when you add more instrumentation to existing ones.
Can you migrate our existing SCADA system to the TekToro platform?
Yes. We have deep experience migrating from legacy platforms including FactoryTalk, Wonderware, GE iFIX, and proprietary vendor systems. Our migration process includes a full site assessment, parallel run period, data historian migration, and operator retraining — all designed to minimize operational downtime during the transition.
What support tiers are available and what do they include?
We offer three tiers: Tier 1 (Connect) includes business-hours support for monitoring and alarm management. Tier 2 (Control) adds extended 16/7 support with supervisory control and advanced reporting. Tier 3 (Premier) provides 24/7 priority support with AI predictive analytics, digital twin integration, and custom development. All tiers include software updates and security patches.
Who owns the data generated by the SCADA platform?
You do — completely. All operational data, historian archives, alarm logs, reports, and configurations belong to you. We provide full data export capabilities in standard formats (CSV, SQL, JSON) and our REST API allows real-time integration with your other business systems. If you ever choose to move on, your data leaves with you.
How is the platform secured against cyber threats?
Our security architecture is built on IEC 62443 principles and includes TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit, role-based access control with multi-factor authentication, network segmentation between OT and IT zones, encrypted data at rest, regular penetration testing, and comprehensive audit logging. We also support air-gapped deployments for high-security environments.
What communication protocols are supported out of the box?
The platform supports OPC-UA, Modbus TCP/RTU, MQTT/Sparkplug B, DNP3, BACnet, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and serial protocols. Custom drivers can be developed for proprietary or legacy equipment. Our edge gateways handle protocol translation locally, so your field devices do not need to be upgraded to connect.
